There are very few nights that Bailey doesn't wake us to go outside.  I thought she'd grow out of it but every night she has to go out at least once and sometimes twice.  We always make sure she does both of her businesses as close to bedtime as possible and keep her on a regular schedule.

I don't think  it's health related because she stays inside all day from 7 am to 4pm and never has an accident.   The only time she sleeps all night is when she's absolutely exhausted on the weekends - and then sometimes she still gets us up.

We're to the point of maybe getting something from the vet to make her sleep all night but I really really don't want to have to do that.

Any suggestions?

Besides having her eliminate at bedtime, remove food and water at 6:00 PM.  Crate her at bedtime, and just make her get used to holding it all night.  This should not be a problem, unless there's a health condition.  It may be a loud and annoying first few nights, but she should be trained to rest all night.

Buddy's only 11 lbs, and as small as he is, he will hold it a good 12 hours without complaining.

How does she wake you up? Does she eliminate on the floor if you ignore her?

No - I'm not having a problem with her being potty trained - just the opposite - she never goes in the house - there have been no accidents since she was maybe 4 months old - she's been an absolute dream in that department - in fact most people don't believe how easy she was to housetrain.

She just wakes us during the night wanting to go out - she always pees or poops and then comes back in and goes back to sleep.

She's on a regular schedule for food and drink so I know that's not the problem - and I know she's healthy -

I just wish she would sleep all night!

I think she has learned that she doesn't have to "hold it" at night, probably as a puppy when she HAD to be taken out at night. By getting up and letting her out ... you are re-enforcing the behavior. She has to learn that she needs to wait for a scheduled time to go outside. If she can do it during the day, there should be no reason she can't do it at night too. Try ignoring her at night when she wakes you up.

I know it's tough to do when you work and have a busy life, but more exercise during the day could only help too.

Wouldn't you know - last night she slept all night.  We've been telling her NO and making her get back in bed but she squirms and wiggles so much that we go ahead and let her out.

I think what this comes down to is that this little girl is spoiled rotten and has us wrapped around her fingers - or should I say paws?
